USA DUTY SHIPPING UPDATE

CANADA POST IS CURRENTLY ON STRIKE

ALL ORDERS PLACED WITH CANADA POST LABELS WILL BE HELD WITH US UNTIL THEY ARE BACK IN OPERATION.

As many of you know, We are a small business based in Canada. Unfortunately due to the US Federal Government's newly introduced policies this week, we are mandated to collect duties on all shipments going into the USA.

TO THOSE (USA ONLY) WHO PLACED ORDERS BEFORE THE NEW
DUTY REQUIREMENT:

Many of you paid for UPS or Canada Post/USPS shipping.
Unfortunately, due to the lack of duties paid on these packages, your orders are now being shipped with DHL or Purolator
- You will know by the tracking number received in your inbox. If you did not receive a notification of shipment, please check your spam or junk.

Because of this, our business has taken a hit on the shipping costs for DHL, because the rates are much, much, higher.

We ask that you PLEASE, PLEASE, check on your shipment tracking often, to see if you are required to pay duty fees before a delivery can be made. We suggest manually copying & pasting the tracking code directly into the tracking section of the delivery service website. Failure to pay required duty will result in your package being held in fulfillment centres.

We feel like we've been thrown into the unknown and we are learning how to navigate this new policy together.
We ask that if you feel to share, please send us an email letting us know how your experience with receiving your package and paying for duties went. - Like we said, this is all new and unknown. So the more information you can provide about your experience, the more we can share with future customers.

United States Shipping

Orders shipped to the USA typically arrive within 5–14 business days after processing.

⚠️ Important Update (Effective August 29, 2025):
All shipments entering the USA are now subject to duty taxes and import fees, which are the responsibility of the customer. These fees are determined by U.S. Customs and may vary based on your order’s value and product type.

Shipping rates are calculated by weight at checkout through Shopify. We currently offer shipping through the following carriers:

• Canada Post – All available service rates (domestic, U.S., and international)
• UPS – All available service rates (domestic, U.S., and international)
• Purolator – All available service rates (domestic and international)
• DHL – All available service rates (primarily international express shipping)

Customers can choose their preferred carrier and service level at checkout. Rates are based on current carrier standards.

Please allow up to 4 weeks for your order to be lovingly processed before it is shipped.

🌍 Customs & Duties

• Canada: Orders shipped within Canada are not subject to duties.
• United States: As of August 29, 2025, all shipments entering the U.S. are subject to duty taxes and import fees. These are the responsibility of the customer and vary based on the order’s value and product type.
• International Orders: Customers outside of Canada and the U.S. are responsible for any applicable customs duties, import fees, or taxes applied by their country.
